it seems like only yesteryear
I'm a little late in kicking off my birthday week because Bell was out of town and I didn't have much free time for blogging (on accounta I had two kids to entertain). (Oh wait! I actually got two wee posts up over the weekend...) I hope you haven't started without me.
When I was a kid we had an informal rule in our house that allowed the birthday celebrant to have a birthday free of the usual labors our parents made us do. The rule was informal because my parents never actually agreed to the exemption, but we kids honored it just the same. In that vein, I hereby declare that for the rest of the week, I don't have to do anything I don't want to do.
Happy birthday week!
